# The Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 1985, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 9th December 1985
Laid before Parliament 18th December 1985
Coming into Operation 8th January 1986
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 43(2) and (6) of the Road Traffic Act 1972 and now vested in him, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 199(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
