Regulation 3

in paragraph (1), for the description of vehicles in Class V substitute the following description:—

“(a)

Large passenger-carrying vehicles,

(b)

Public service vehicles which are—

(i)

of a type specified in paragraph (3), and

(ii)

constructed or adapted to carry more than 12 seated passengers, and

(c)

Play buses”;

in paragraph (3), for the words “in respect of which no certificate of initial fitness has been issued and which are lawfully in use without one by virtue of —” substitute the words “which may lawfully be used on a road in the absence of a certificate of initial fitness by virtue of —”.
