# The Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 6th June 1988
Laid before Parliament 13th June 1988
Coming into force 4th July 1988
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 43(2) and (6) of the Road Traffic Act 1972, and now vested in him , and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 199(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
