  "heading": "Amendments to Schedule 2 (the prescribed statutory requirements for vehicles in classes I and II)",
  "text": "(1) Schedule 2 shall be amended as follows.\n(2) For items 1 to 6 the Table in paragraph 1(a) substitute—\n“\n1\n16 and 18\nBraking\n2\n24, 26, 27 and 100(1) (insofar as it relates to the condition of the road wheels)\nWheels and Tyres\n3\n29\nSteering\n4\n37\nAudible Warning Instrument\n4A\n39 and 100(1) (insofar as it relates to the security and condition of the fuel system components or, as the case may be, their maintenance so that no danger is likely to be caused)\nFuel Tanks and Pipes\n5\n54, 57 and 100(1) (insofar as it relates to the condition of the pipings, attachment brackets and mounting of the exhaust system)\nExhaust\n5A\n67\nVehicle Identification Number\n6\n100(1) (insofar as it relates to the condition of the vehicle structure, the chassis, frame and any sub-frame or any mounting or connection or part of the suspension, to the extent that such condition may prejudice the steering or braking of the vehicle)\nStructure and Suspension\n6A\n100(1) (insofar as it relates to the clutch and engine speed control systems and their mountings or connections to the extent that such condition may prejudice the safe operation of the vehicle)\nClutch Lever and Throttle Control\n”\n(3) After paragraph 1(b) insert—\n“(c) The requirements contained in the following provisions of the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001:—\nItem No.\nRegulations\nAffecting\n13A\n4, 5, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15\nRear Registration Plates and Marks\n”\n(4) For the table in paragraph 2(d) substitute—\n“(d) The requirements contained in the following provisions of the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001:—\nItem No.\nRegulations\nAffecting\n27\n4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15\nRegistration Plates and Marks\n”",
