Regulation 1 Citation, commencement, interpretation and application

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st June 2003.

In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981f1.

Subject to regulations 24 and 25, these Regulations apply in relation to, and for purposes connected with, examinations of motor vehicles under Parts III and IV of the principal Regulations carried out on or after 1st June 2003.
