# The Motorcycles (Type-Approval) Regulations 2018, Regulation 5: Requests for information: failure to comply


Where a manufacturer who makes an application for type-approval fails to comply with a reasoned request for additional information made under paragraph 5 of article 28 of the Motorcycles Regulation, the approval authority may treat the application as having been withdrawn by the manufacturer.
