# The Motorways Traffic (Scotland) (Amendment) Regulations 2018, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 4th June 2018
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 17(2)(a) and (c), (3) and (3ZB) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Representative organisations have been consulted in accordance with section 134(2) of that Act.
