# The National Park Authorities (Wales) Order 1995, Article 9: Vacancies


Upon a vacancy arising the vacancy shall as soon as practicable be filled, in the case of a local authority member, by the appointment of a new member by the council in whose representation the vacancy arises and, in the case of a Secretary of State member, by the Secretary of State after consultation with the Natural Resources Body for Wales.
