  "heading": "Supply of document, &c. to Secretary of State",
  "text": "(1) Section 20 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (supply of information to Secretary of State) shall be amended as follows.\n(2) After subsection (1) insert—\n“(1A) This section also applies to a document or article which—\n(a) comes into the possession of a person listed in subsection (1) or someone acting on his behalf, or\n(b) is discovered by a person listed in subsection (1) or someone acting on his behalf.”\n(3) In subsection (2) after “information” insert “ , document or article ”.\n(4) After subsection (2) insert—\n“(2A) The Secretary of State may—\n(a) retain for immigration purposes a document or article supplied to him under subsection (2), and\n(b) dispose of a document or article supplied to him under subsection (2) in such manner as he thinks appropriate (and the reference to use in subsection (2) includes a reference to disposal).”\n(5) In subsection (6) after “information” insert “ , documents or articles ”.",
