  "text": "In this Part—\n“the joint committee” means the Joint Nature Conservation Committee;\n“Minister of the Crown” has the same meaning as in the Ministers of the Crown Act 1975 (c. 26);\n“nature conservation” means the conservation of flora, fauna or geological or physiographical features;\n“the relevant Northern Ireland department” means the Department of the Environment in Northern Ireland;\n“research” includes inquiries and investigations.",
