# The Naval Medical Compassionate Fund (Amendment) Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text

Present,
The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
WHEREAS Her Majesty deems it expedient to amend the Order in Council approving Standing Orders and Regulations for the Government of the Naval Medical Compassionate Fund (1915) by Order in Council in pursuance of section 1 of the Naval Medical Compassionate Fund Act 1915.
NOW, THEREFORE, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Naval Medical Compassionate Fund Act 1915, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
