# The NCIS Service Authority (Levying) Order 1997, Article 5: Consultation on the total amount of levies


(1) Consultation under paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 3 to the 1997 Act shall begin on or before 5th November in the preceding year.
(2) Any representations by any person consulted under paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 3 shall be delivered to the Secretary of State in writing within a period of five weeks beginning with the day on which the Secretary of State consulted that person.
