# The Net Zero Teesside Order 2024, Paragraph 23: Piling and penetrative foundation design

Extent: E+W+S

(1) No part of the authorised development comprised within Work Nos. 1 or 7 may commence, save for the permitted preliminary works, until a written piling and penetrative foundation design method statement, informed by a risk assessment and which is consistent with the piling mitigation measures in paragraph 10.8 of Chapter 10 of the environmental statement and the principles set out in Chapter 11 of the environmental statement and any construction environmental management plan (including the details of any approved groundwater monitoring plan) submitted under requirement 16(1) for that part, has been submitted to and, after consultation with the Environment Agency, Natural England, Sembcorp and STDC, approved by the relevant planning authority.
(2) All piling and penetrative foundation works must be carried out in accordance with the approved method statement unless otherwise agreed with the relevant planning authority.
