# New Forest Act 1697, Section IV: Inclosures not to be plowed or sowed, &c.


And be it further enacted by the Authority aforesaid That the said Inclosures shall not be plowed or sowed with any Corn or fed with any Cattel or be at any time or times hereafter kept for Underwood but in such Manner only as shal be fit for the raising and preserving of Timber for the use of the Navy.
