# New Forest Act 1877, Section 30: Fine on neglect of duty by returning officer.


If the returning officer refuses or neglects to comply with any enactment of this Act relating to the election of verderers he shall be liable, on summary conviction before two justices of the peace, to a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale.
