  "text": "(1) In the performance of their functions under the New Forest Acts 1877 to 1964 the Forestry Commissioners and the verderers shall have regard to the desirability of conserving flora, fauna and geological or physiographical features of special interest.\n(2) In this section “functions” includes powers and duties.",
