Regulation 39 Appointment, functions and removal of officers

(1)

The first meeting of a temporary governing body is to be called by the clerk.

(2)

The temporary governing body must elect a chair and vice-chair at that first meeting.

(3)

Where the clerk fails to call a meeting within such period as the local education authority consider reasonable, the local education authority must call it.
