# New Towns Act 1982, Section 1: Increase of limit on borrowing.


In section 60 of the New Towns Act 1981 (limit on borrowing by development corporations and Commission for New Towns) for “£3,625 million or such greater sum not exceeding £4,000 million” there shall be substituted “ £4,500 million or such greater sum not exceeding £5,000 million ”.
