Article 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 1998.

Subject to paragraph (3), this Order shall come into operation on the expiration of 14 days from the day on which it is made.

Articles 4 to 11 shall come into operation on such day or days as the Secretary of State may by order appoint.
