  "text": "(1) Part 4 (Crop requirements) is amended as follows.\n(2) For paragraph (3) of regulation 15 (additional information to be recorded during the year), substitute—\n“(3) Before spreading manufactured nitrogen fertiliser, the occupier must record–\n(a) the amount required; and\n(b) the planned date for spreading (month).”.\n(3) In regulation 16 (total nitrogen spread on a holding)—\n(a) for paragraph (a), substitute—\n“(a) nitrogen from manufactured nitrogen fertiliser, and”;\n(b) for paragraph (b), substitute—\n“(b) nitrogen available for crop uptake from livestock manure in the growing season in which it is spread, calculated in accordance with regulation 17,”;\n(c) after “spread on the following crops” omit “, calculated in accordance with regulation 17,”; and\n(d) for table footnote (e), substitute—\n“(e) This is inclusive of any nitrogen that is applied as an exemption to the closed period for manufactured nitrogen fertiliser. The permitted amount may be increased by up to 30 kg per hectare for every half tonne that expected yield exceeds the standard yield.”.",
