# The Nitrate Sensitive Areas (Designation) (Amendment) Order 1990, Article 3: Amendment of the principal Order


In article 2(1)—
(a) in the definition of “economic optimum” after the word “of” where it first appears there shall be inserted the following: “nitrogen in the form of”; and
(b) in the definition of “farmer” after the word “and” there shall be inserted the following: “who applies to enter or, as the case may be,”.
