Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and transitional provisions

These Regulations may be cited as the Noise Insulation Regulations 1975 and shall come into operation on the tenth day after the date on which they are made.

Except to the extent provided by paragraph (3) of this Regulation the Noise Insulation Regulations 1973 shall cease to have effect on the commencement date, but this provision shall not affect the previous operation of those Regulations or anything duly done or suffered under them.

These Regulations shall have effect subject to the transitional provisions set out in Schedule 2.
