  "heading": "Nature and extent of work to be undertaken",
  "text": "(1) Insulation work carried out pursuant to these Regulations shall be in accordance with the relevant specifications.\n(2) Notwithstanding anything in these Regulations there shall not be carried out, nor shall a grant be made in respect of the cost of carrying out, insulation work in or to an eligible room in which there is installed any flueless combustion appliance other than a gas cooker, unless there will be in that room, after completion of the insulation work in or to that room in accordance with the relevant specifications, an uninsulated window capable of being opened.\n(3) Nothing in these Regulations shall require an authority to carry out work or to make a grant in respect of the carrying out of work required—\n(a) to remedy a defect in a building, or\n(b) to maintain or repair any equipment or apparatus installed in or on any building pursuant to these Regulations.",
