Rule 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules may be cited as the Non-Contentious Probate (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into force on 14th September 1998.

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires, a rule referred to by number alone means the rule so numbered in the Non-Contentious Probate Rules 1987^f1 and a reference to any form by number alone means the form so numbered in the First Schedule to those Rules.
