# The North Gillingham Education Action Zone Order 1999, Article 5: Education Action Forum


The Forum may at any time appoint additional members as follows—
(a) up to four persons nominated by Medway Council in their capacity as a local education authority;
(b) up to four persons representing the interests of business in the area served by the zone schools;
(c) up to four persons representing the interests of community, voluntary and ethnic minority organisations in the area served by the zone schools;
(d) up to three parents of registered pupils chosen from governors of zone schools;
(e) up to three persons from unions representing teachers and other staff working in zone schools;
(f) one person representing the interests of careers guidance providers to young persons, or the education sector generally, in the area served by the zone schools; and
(g) one person nominated by Medway Youth Parliament to represent the interests of students and pupils attending zone schools.
