# The North Wales Police (Amalgamation) (Amendment) Order 1988, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order contains the Secretary of State’s approval to a Scheme, submitted to him under the Police Act 1964, amending the North Wales Police Amalgamation Scheme 1973 with effect from 1st April 1988.
It provides that interim payments into the combined police fund by constituent councils shall be payable at intervals to be determined by the combined police authority and those councils, rather than monthly.
