  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order modifies the Northern Ireland Act 2000 in consequence of provision made under section 2 of that Act, suspending devolved government in Northern Ireland, on 14th October 2002.\nThe Order provides that during suspension expenditure incurred by the Secretary of State in exercising the functions of the Assembly Commission and in relation to members' salaries etc. is to be defrayed from the Consolidated Fund of Northern Ireland.",
