  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThe Notice to Local Authorities (Scotland) Regulations 2008 (“the 2008 Regulations”) prescribe the form of notice to be given under section 11(1) of the Homelessness etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (“the 2003 Act”) and various other enactments listed in section 11(5) of that Act.\nThese Regulations amend the 2008 Regulations to prescribe the form of notice for the purposes of section 56(1) of the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016 (“the 2016 Act”).\nSection 56(1) of the 2016 Act provides that where a landlord makes an application to the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland for an eviction order against a tenant under a private residential tenancy, the landlord must give notice to the relevant local authority. Section 56(2) of the 2016 Act requires that such notice is given in the form prescribed under section 11(3) of the 2003 Act.\nNo business and regulatory impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations as no impact upon business, charities or voluntary bodies is foreseen.",
