# The Nottinghamshire (District Boundaries) Order 1988, Article 4: Transfers from the district of Ashfield to the Borough of Gedling


(1) The parts of the district of Ashfield which are marked Area C and Area E on the boundary map shall be transferred to—
(a) the borough of Gedling;
(b) the Newstead ward of that borough;
(c) the Gedling North county electoral division
and shall become part of the parish of Linby.
(2) The part of the district of Ashfield which is marked Area F on the boundary map shall be transferred to—
(a) the borough of Gedling;
(b) the Newstead ward of that borough;
(c) the Gedling North county electoral division
and shall become part of the parish of Papplewick.
