# The Nuclear Industries Security (Amendment) Regulations 2006, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Nuclear Industries Security (Amendment) Regulations 2006.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 25th November 2006.
(3) Except for regulation 8 these Regulations extend to Northern Ireland.
(4) In these Regulations—
“the 2001 Act” means the Anti-terrorism Crime and Security Act 2001; and
“the Principal Regulations” means the Nuclear Industries Security Regulations 2003.
