# The Nuclear Industries Security (Amendment) Regulations 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 7th February 2013
Coming into force 28th February 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, the Secretary of State makes the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 77(5) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted the Health and Safety Executive and such other persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.
