# The Nuclear Industries Security Regulations 2003, Regulation 25A: Notification of compliance with a 2001 Act direction


(1) Where a person to whom these Regulations apply—
(a) is required to comply with a 2001 Act direction; and
(b) is of the opinion that the person cannot comply both with that direction and any provision of these Regulations (a “relevant provision”),
that person must notify the ONR.
(2) A notification under paragraph (1) must—
(a) be given as soon as reasonably practicable;
(b) give details of the relevant 2001 Act direction; and
(c) specify the relevant provision.
