# The Nuclear Installations (Excepted Matter) Regulations 2017, Schedule

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

For the purpose of regulation 4(b) and (c), the following formula is to be used to determine the activity limit for a consignment of nuclear matter, where B(i) is the activity (in terabequerels) of the radionuclide i contained in radioactive material and A2(i) is the A2 value for the radionuclide i—
∑ i B(i) 100​ x A 2 (i) < 1
