For section 30(2) there shall be substituted the following provision:—

“(2)

This Act, except for section 17(5), shall come into operation forthwith and section 17(5) shall come into operation by order of the Secretary of State.

(3)

Any Order made by the Secretary of State under the provisions of the last preceding subsection shall not come into force in Guernsey until registered by the Royal Court.”.
