In section 12(4)—

(a)

the words “or in subsection (3A)” shall be omitted;

(b)

for paragraph (a) (repealed by section 6(3) of the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act 1971) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—

“(a)

the operation of the Loi ayant rapport au Transport de Marchandises sur Mer; or”;

(c)

in paragraph (c) the references to an Act shall include a reference to a law of the States of Guernsey, the States of Alderney or the Chief Pleas of Sark.
