# The Nuclear Installations (Virgin Islands) Order 1973, Note: Explanatory note


This Order extends to the Virgin Islands, with adaptations and modifications, certain provisions of the Nuclear Installations Act 1965, as amended, which relate to the duty in respect of the carriage of nuclear matter, to the right to compensation for breach of that duty and to the bringing and satisfaction of claims, and certain ancillary provisions.
