  "text": "In section 2—\n(a) omit subsection (3);\n(b) in subsection (5) for the words from “liable” to the end, substitute—\n“liable—\n(a) on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the uniform scale; or\n(b) on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to a fine, or to both”; and\n(c) for subsection (6) substitute —\n“(6) In this Act “the uniform scale” means the scale specified for the time being in section 1 of the Uniform Scale of Fines (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1989.”.",
