  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Nursery Education (England) Regulations 1998 (S.I. 1998/655) by adding to the list of recipients of grant accredited child minders.\nAccredited childminders are defined by these Regulations as persons who, when providing nursery education in respect of which grant is claimed, are registered child minders, acting as such for the purposes of Part X of the Children Act 1989, and accredited by, or by persons approved by, a recognised organisation. The Secretary of State will recognise one or more organisations for this purpose.",
