# The Nursing and Midwifery (Amendment) Order 2008, Paragraph 7: Amendment of article 48


In article 48 (exercise of powers by the Privy Council), after paragraph (2) insert the following paragraph—
“(2A) For the purposes of section 1 of the Statutory Instruments Act 1946 (definition of “Statutory Instrument”), paragraph (2) shall have effect as if contained in an Act of Parliament.”
