  "text": "The following probation trusts are dissolved—\n(a) Avon and Somerset Probation Trust;\n(b) Bedfordshire Probation Trust;\n(c) Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Probation Trust;\n(d) Cheshire Probation Trust;\n(e) Cumbria Probation Trust;\n(f) Derbyshire Probation Trust;\n(g) Devon and Cornwall Probation Trust;\n(h) Dorset Probation Trust;\n(i) Durham Tees Valley Probation Trust;\n(j) Essex Probation;\n(k) Gloucestershire Probation Trust;\n(l) Greater Manchester Probation Trust;\n(m) Hampshire Probation Trust;\n(n) Hertfordshire Probation Trust;\n(o) Humberside Probation Trust;\n(p) Kent Probation;\n(q) Lancashire Probation Trust;\n(r) Leicestershire and Rutland Probation Trust;\n(s) Lincolnshire Probation Trust;\n(t) London Probation Trust;\n(u) Merseyside Probation Trust;\n(v) Norfolk and Suffolk Probation Trust;\n(w) Northamptonshire Probation Trust;\n(x) Northumbria Probation Trust;\n(y) Nottinghamshire Probation Trust;\n(z) South Yorkshire Probation Trust;\n(aa) Staffordshire and West Midlands Probation Trust;\n(bb) Surrey and Sussex Probation Trust;\n(cc) Thames Valley Probation;\n(dd) Wales Probation Trust;\n(ee) Warwickshire Probation Trust;\n(ff) West Mercia Probation Trust;\n(gg) West Yorkshire Probation Trust;\n(hh) Wiltshire Probation Trust; and\n(ii) York and North Yorkshire Probation Trust.",

      "text": "In total 37 probation trusts were established in three phases (1 April 2008, 1 April 2009 and 1 April 2010). The relevant Orders giving effect to these probation trusts are: The Offender Management Act 2007 (Establishment of Probation Trusts) Order 2008 (S.I. 2008/598), The Offender Management Act 2007 (Establishment of Probation Trusts) Order 2009 (S.I. 2009/504) and The Offender Management Act 2007 (Establishment of Probation Trusts) Order 2010 (S.I. 2010/195). Two of the trusts established by the 2008 Order were subsequently dissolved by the 2010 Order, leaving 35 probation trusts currently in existence across England and Wales."
