# The Official Statistics (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021, Introduction: Introductory text

Affirmed by resolution of the Assembly on 14th June 2021Made 13th May 2021
Coming into operation in accordance with Article 1
The Department of Finance , in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 (1)(b)(iv) and (2) of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 , makes the following Order.
In accordance with section 6 (3) of that Act, the Department of Finance has consulted the Statistics Board .
