  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nBy section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989, the consent of the Secretary of State is required for the construction, extension or operation of a generating station above a permitted capacity.\nThis Order exempts from that requirement any generating station on an offshore installation which is used solely to supply electricity to that or another offshore installation.",
