OFFSHORE INSTALLATIONS

Coming into force 12th July 1989

Whereas the Secretary of State has consulted pursuant to section 7(1) of the Mineral Workings (Offshore Installations) Act 1971^f1 (hereinafter referred to as“the 1971 Act”) and section 32(1) of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975^f2 (hereinafter referred to as“the 1975 Act”) with organisations in the United Kingdom appearing to him to be representative of those persons who will be affected by the following Regulations:

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under sections 6, 7 and 11 of, and paragraphs 1(1), 3 and 7 of the Schedule to, the 1971 Act and section 26 of the 1975 Act, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:–
