# The Offshore Installations (Safety Case) Regulations 1992, Regulation 5: Safety case for mobile installations


The owner of a mobile installation shall ensure that the installation is not moved in relevant waters with a view to its being operated there unless—
(a) he has prepared a safety case containing the particulars specified in regulation 8 and Schedule 3;
(b) he has sent the safety case to the Executive at least 3 months before the movement of the installation in those waters with a view to its being operated there; and
(c) the Executive has accepted the safety case.
