Regulation 7 Safety case for abandonment of fixed installations
The operator of a fixed installation shall ensure that the installation is not decommissioned unless—
(a)
he has prepared a safety case containing the particulars specified in regulation 8 and Schedule 5;
(b)
he has sent the safety case to the Executive at least 6 months before the commencement of the decommissioning; and
(c)
the Executive has accepted the safety case.
