# The Oil Stocking Order 2012, Article 18: Revocations


(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the following (“existing Orders”) are revoked—
(a) the Petroleum Stocks Order 1976 ;
(b) the Petroleum Stocks (Amendment) Order 1982 ;
(c) the Petroleum Stocks (Amendment) Order 1983 .
(2) The existing Orders continue to have effect for the purpose of construing any direction given by the Secretary of State before the date on which this Order is made.
