# The Online Procedure (Rules and Practice Directions) Rules 2026, Rule 20: Use of non-electronic means by unrepresented persons


An unrepresented person may choose to start online proceedings, or take a subsequent step in online proceedings, by submitting the information required in the relevant paper form to the court or tribunal to upload onto the digital service.
