# Online Safety Act 2023, Paragraph 9: Criminal Attempts Act 1981

In section 1 of the Criminal Attempts Act 1981 (attempting to commit an offence), in subsection (4), after paragraph (c) insert—
“(d) an offence under section 184(1) of the Online Safety Act 2023 (encouraging or assisting serious self-harm).”
