# Opencast Coal Act 1958, Paragraph 10


For the purposes of the provisions of paragraph 4 of this Schedule, and of the provisions of section 23(4)(b) of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981 and paragraph 15 of Schedule 1 to the Scottish Acquisition of Land Actas applied by the last preceding paragraph, the first publication of a notice shall be treated as taking place on the date on which the notice is first published in accordance with those provisions in a local newspaper, or of the date on which it is first published in the London Gazette, whichever is the later date.
