# The Opticians Act 1989 (Amendment) Order 2005, Paragraph 28: The Primary Care Trusts (Consultation on Establishment, Dissolution and Transfer of Staff) Regulations 1999

In regulation 1(2) of the Primary Care Trusts (Consultation on Establishment, Dissolution and Transfer of Staff) Regulations 1999 (interpretation), in the definition of “health care professional” for sub-paragraph (d) substitute—
“(d) an optometrist or a dispensing optician whose name is entered in a register under section 7 of the Opticians Act 1989;”.
